December 17, 2014 Meeting Minutes – Draft

Planning Commission Members Present: George (Terry) Delano, Doug Patterson, Sandra O’Flaherty, Sandy Gregg and David Roy

Planning Commission Members Absent: None

Staff Present: Mitchel Cypes

Others present: Jeff Sikora to 7:16PM

Members of the Zoning Board of Adjustment after 9:09PM: Tim Maxham, Paula Delano, George Rice, Jim Baker and Alayne Rabow.

7:02PM: Call to order for the Planning Commission by Terry Delano.

7:03PM Additions or Deletions to the Agenda were solicited. None were requested.

7:03PM: Public Input: Jeff Sikora informed the Commission that a representative from Vermont Electrical Co-op will be at January 7, 2015 meeting. He also requested a clarification of the regulations regarding stone retaining walls. The commission said it was an issue for the ZBA and that boulders do not require a permit, only structures.

7:17PM: A motion was made to approve the Minutes as amended for December 3, 2014 by Sandy Gregg, seconded by Sandra O’Flaherty and approved unanimously.

7:18PM: Administrative Officer’s Report: Scheduled for January 7, 2015 is the Preliminary Subdivision hearing for Lavin’s property, RT275-15-02PC and possibly a sketch plan for the Blow property located at 16 Lakeview Drive. Also a planning and zoning seminar advertisement was shown.

7:20PM: The Planning Commission discussed the Town Plan update.

8:19PM: The Planning Commission deliberated Pest Pro, Inc. Site Plan application RT238-15-15B and were joined by the Zoning Board of Adjustment at 9:05PM.

9:44PM: A motion was made to approve the Pest Pro, Inc. Site Plan application RT238-15-15B as amended by Sandy Gregg, seconded by Sandra O’Flaherty and approved unanimously.

9:49PM: A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Sandra O’Flaherty, seconded by Sandy Gregg and approved unanimously.
